Taniqua is a licensed social worker creating holistic interventions that enhance the wellbeing of historically marginalized communities and improve their access to social services. She has supported organizations in increasing their capacity to serve through policy research and analysis, training and technical assistance, strategic and program planning, grants, and contract administration. Taniqua’s work has aided the creation of federal guidance on COVID-19 best practices for hospital operations, developed evidence-based training curriculum, and increased awareness of racial disparities in homeless service organizations.

Taniqua holds a B.A. in Psychology & Sociology from Salisbury University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland. When she’s not grant writing, Taniqua is a yoga teacher in her community and a mental health therapist for BIPOC teenagers.
