Jennifer Dawani has broad experience in the federal, private, and nonprofit sectors that includes grants, contracts, programs, and operations. She served as an Environmental Scientist, Grant Project Officer, and Contract Officer Technical Representative for the US Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) for eight years. She adds 5 years of experience in nonprofit grant writing and management, plus 7 years in project management and administration for land development and engineering firms. She has developed grant Request for Proposals, coordinated grant review committees, evaluated grants in national competitions, and been directly involved in all aspects of federal grants. Jennifer has experience writing for grant and contract funding from government agencies, foundations, and corporations. Her work has funded research and social causes that include homelessness, affordable housing, poverty, hunger, education, workforce development, and the arts. She has a Master’s in Public Administration with emphasis in Urban Administration and Nonprofit Management from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and a Bachelor of Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver in Land Use with emphasis on Natural Resources and Environment.
